Harris Beds was founded in 1987 by John Harris, who began the business from a small warehouse on Spring Gardens in Grantham with a clear vision: to provide expertly made beds and honest, knowledgeable guidance to help people achieve better sleep.

In 1995, the day-to-day running of Harris Beds was taken over by John’s son, Mark, and his wife, Carol. Together, they built upon the strong foundations laid in the early years, carefully developing the business while preserving its family-run ethos. Under their leadership, Harris Beds grew into a respected independent bed and mattress specialist, known for its expertise, service and attention to detail.
